What's your major?
Mass Communications with a political communication concentration (#geauxManship) and a minor in leadership development.
If you could live anywhere, where would it be and why?
Oh gosh... pretty much anywhere in Europe. Maybe Copenhagen or the Grecian coast or Budapest. I'm really into historical stuff so Europe is the place to be.
What is your dream job?
My dream job would either be writing the Weekend Update for SNL or running my own communications firm and doing strategic communication for elections, government, and nonprofits.
What's your favorite television show/series?
I really really love The Crown and The Office, and thank God for Netflix because school has taken a toll on my TV time.
Favorite restaurant in Baton Rouge?
What's your favorite DG event?
What was your DG aha moment when you went through recruitment?
The girl who recruited me told me that DG had a playroom, and me being the fun-loving gal I am, I thought it was an actual playroom with arcade games and for some reason I was imagining a ball pit, but that's not the case. The point is I knew DG was the place for me because it is filled with funny, goofy, down-to-earth girls who enjoy Fun Friday inflatables just as much as I do.
*FYI DG does have a playroom, but it's for studying and naps, not for games. I'm working on fixing that*
What's your favorite part about your position?
I love Foundation because I can truly see the impact Delta Gamma and specifically Gamma Zeta has on people's lives. Whether it be seniors making flower arrangements at St. James, kids singing karaoke at LSVI, or families receiving much needed food and supplies, I get to watch the first-hand joy DG brings to the community.
Best piece of advice for a PM going through recruitment?
Trust the process and don't stress. You'll end up where you belong. Take a good look at the girls around when you're in the houses. Ask yourself some questions like: Can you see yourself spending the next four years with these girls? Do you feel at home in the house like kick-off-your-shoes-and-nap comfortable?
If you could pick one word to describe your Delta Gamma sisters, what would it be and why?
Motivated. DG gals strive for the best whether it be in DG, school, or in life. DG girls hold each other accountable, lift each other up, and motivate each other to do her very best.
Favorite social media outlet?
TWITTER for sure.
What's your favorite class so far at LSU?
Honestly I have like 3... but spending the summer in D.C. and taking Media and Politics in the Nation's Capital (MC 4971) really had a lasting impact on my life and career path.
What's one think you want to do before you graduate?
I really want to teepee/roll a frat house, buuuuuut that might not be such a good idea.
