Delta Gamma Events
Paint Your Date – PYD is a chapter favorite! It is our fall GRUB...
Night for Sight – The kickoff event is Night for Sight, a silent auction hosted at the Gamma Zeta chapter house. All items sold are donated from vendors throughout Louisiana, and proceeds go to Service for Sight.
Anchor Bowl – Anchor Bowl is the main event which consists of a flag football tournament for fraternity and independent teams with Delta Gamma's serving as the coaches and DG Dad's as the referees.
Anchor Week – Anchor Week consists of a trio of events that allow not only DGs, but also the LSU community, family and friends to join in the fun
DG Bites for Sight – Delta Gamma Milk and Cookies is a fundraising event held at the DG House in which members sell cookies and milk as a study snack within the campus community. At the event, chapter members and members from the Greek community enjoy live music and the traditional after school snack – cookies and milk. The highlight of the event is the cookie-eating contest, where each fraternity is represented by one person who fought to each the most cookies in one minute.
Songfest – Delta Gamma placed 2nd in 2015!
Family Tailgate – hosted at the Delta Gamma house, a tailgate on the front lawn that welcomes all DGs and their families before kickoff.
Dad's Day – Enjoyed a LSU Baseball game with the Delta Gamma Dads!
Fan Day– Delta Gamma Fan Day is held at the DG House for the students of the Louisiana School for the Visually Impaired. The DG chapter members with the help of student-athletes including SEC Champion football players, club sport athletes, LSU Cheerleaders, Tiger Girls and Mike the Tiger get the LSVI students in the Tiger Spirit. Past guest speakers include: Coach Les Miles, Coach Paul Maneri, Mo Isom, and Coach Nikki Caldwell. Students have the opportunity to take pictures and learn cheers from the LSU “celebrities.”
