“When recruitment was all said and done, I knew I could walk into Delta Gamma every day with the same feeling I had walking through the house all week. That’s what I love about this sorority; genuine girls and friendships that doesn’t just last for that one week, but for a lifetime.”
“What Delta Gamma means to me changes a little bit each year. My freshmen year it brought me new experiences. My sophomore year it gave me great life-long friendships. So far this year it has strengthened who I am and aspire to be as a woman. I am so excited to see what Delta Gamma will mean to me next year and every year after that. I am proud to be a part of a sisterhood that is filled with ambitious, loving and empowered women. I know these will be life-long friends that will hug me at graduation, be bridesmaids at my wedding, fight over being my kid's “favorite aunt” and give me flowers when I own a company someday, and for me, that’s what it is all about.”
"Delta Gamma is a place of girls who are full of love for each other, their sorority, and their philanthropy. They will be there for each other. They are willing to work hard for the sorority. They are selfless for those who may need them most.”
"Delta Gamma has given me so many of my best memories in life that i'll cherish forever and life-long bestfriends I can count on for anything. I can truly say Delta Gamma was one of the best decisions I have ever made and has given more than I could have ever possibly imagined."
“Delta Gamma is more than words could ever describe. It’s a mansion on the lake full of encouraging girls who come together to make each and every person better! I’m so so thankful for the opportunities and friends Delta Gamma has given me.”
“Delta Gamma has provided me with endless opportunities to grow as a person. Throughout my time in DG I have gained countless memories and shared so much laughter. The best thing that DG has given me is the lifelong friends I have made.”
My name is Katherine Roberts and I have the privilege of serving as President for Delta Gamma at LSU in 2019. I am a native of Baton Rouge, and I am currently in my junior year majoring in mass communication with a concentration in public relations, as well as minoring in business. I plan to continue my education by attending law school after I complete my undergraduate. I am so honored and incredibly humbled to lead this wonderful chapter of phenomenal young women this year.
