Meet Bella!

VP: Communications

I chose to join DG because it had all the qualities I was looking for in a place to call home.
Looking back to three years ago when I walked into the DG house during recruitment, I
remember instantly feeling welcomed and comfortable. Every conversation felt genuine and
easy, never like an interview, just like talking to a friend. The effort the women put into
showing what makes DG so special was clear and authentic throughout the entire process. I am
so grateful and proud to be part of this chapter and for all the opportunities it gives me to give
back to something bigger than myself.

What's your major?

My major is English with a concentration in Secondary Education.

If you could live anywhere where would it be and why?

If I could live anywhere, I would move to New York City. It has always been a dream of mine to live there after graduating, especially since I have only experienced it through photos and videos. Even visiting soon would be so exciting, but living there would truly be a dream come true.

Best piece of advice for a PNM going through recruitment?

The best advice I could give a PNM is to let the process be completely your own. I was led to DG by following my heart and staying true to how I felt when leaving each house. I paid attention to who I was, whether the girls felt like my kind of people, and whether the older members reflected the woman I wanted to become in four years. DG gave me such a strong sense of comfort and confidence during recruitment, and I truly believe that when you know, you know, and you will end up exactly where you are meant to be.

If you could pick one word to describe your Delta Gamma sisters, what would it be and why?

Forever- The women I met in DG did not just become my sisters through initiation, they became my best friends. As someone who lives in the house, these are the women I spend every single day with. I wake up and go to sleep surrounded by DG sisters, and I would not have it any other way. DG is a constant in my college life that I know will go far beyond LSU. I am so grateful to be part of a sisterhood that last a lifetime.

What's one thing you want to do before you graduate?

One thing I really want to do before I graduate is go on one of those 24-hour trips to New York City that I always see on TikTok with all of my best friends in DG.
